Ornithology of Extinction is a series of visual studies of endangered bird species. The sixth mass extinction is solely due to the actions of humans and many species of wildlife are fighting for their existence. The ornithology of endangered bird species in Finland is approached with aesthetic studies and with the means of abstraction, as the birds are in danger of turning into abstract memories of the past.

Sukupuuton ornitologia on sarja uhanalaisten lintulajien visuaalisesta tutkimisesta. Kuudes joukkosukupuutto on ihmisen teoista johtuva eläinten kato ja monet lajit taistelevat olemassaolostaan. Maalaukset kuvastavat Suomen uhanalaisten lintulajien ornitologiaa abstrahoimisen ja esteettisen tutkimisen keinoin, aivan kuten linnutkin vaivuttuaan menneisyyteen ovat vaarassa muuttua abstraktimmiksi käsitteiksi ja muistoiksi.
